Reach the desk that can actually help you

USA Wire is a working newsroom. Messages sent to the right desk are read by the editor responsible for that coverage, not by a general inbox. Use the routing below and you will get a faster, better answer.

Where to send your message

Every address below reaches a specific editor or team. Please pick one rather than sending the same message to several, which slows everything down.

01 — Newsroom

Story tips and news desk

Breaking news, documents, filings, and story leads across business, markets, technology, leadership, money, politics, innovation, and lifestyle.

editor@usawire.co

02 — Accuracy

Corrections and clarifications

If you believe we published something inaccurate, tell us here. Include the article URL and the specific sentence. Corrections take priority over every other message we receive.

corrections@usawire.co

03 — Confidential

Secure and sensitive tips

For material you cannot send through ordinary channels. Read the guidance further down this page before you write to us.

tips@usawire.co

04 — Commercial

Advertising and partnerships

Display placements, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorship, and media kit requests. Commercial mail never reaches the newsroom.

advertising@usawire.co

05 — Contributors

Pitches and freelance work

Article pitches from reporters, analysts, and industry practitioners. Read the contributor guidelines first so your pitch is judged on the work rather than the format.

contribute@usawire.co

06 — Rights

Republication and permissions

Licensing, syndication, quoting at length, translation rights, and takedown or privacy requests relating to published material.

legal@usawire.co

Sending us a tip

The tips that turn into reporting are rarely the loudest ones. They are usually a single document, a change in a filing, or a description of something you watched happen from close range. You do not need to have the whole story. You need to be able to point us at the part that can be checked.

When you write, tell us what happened, when it happened, and how you know. If there is paperwork, attach it or describe it precisely enough that we can request it ourselves. If you would rather not be identified, say so in your first message and we will treat the exchange accordingly from that point on.

We do not pay for information. We do not agree in advance to publish anything. What we will do is read carefully, come back to you with questions, and tell you honestly if we are not going to pursue it.

Before you send

  • Do not use an employer-owned device, email account, or network.
  • Do not send material you are contractually or legally barred from sharing without taking your own advice first.
  • Tell us in the message itself what you are willing to have published and what you are not.
  • Give us one reliable way to reach you that is not monitored by anyone else.
  • Assume ordinary email is not secure. Send only what is safe to send that way.

Corrections

If we got it wrong, we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing. Every substantive correction is published on the article itself, dated, and described plainly.USA Wire corrections policy

To make a correction request as easy as possible to act on, include the article URL, the exact wording you are disputing, what the accurate version is, and any source we can check it against. We do not quietly edit published copy: when a fact changes, the change is visible.

Common questions

Will you take down an article about me or my company?

We remove published work only where it is factually wrong and cannot be corrected, or where there is a clear legal or safety reason. Unfavourable coverage that is accurate is not a takedown case. If a fact is wrong, write to corrections and it will be fixed properly and visibly.

Can I pay to have my company covered?

No. Editorial coverage is not for sale at any price. If you want to reach our readers commercially, that is a separate and entirely legitimate conversation with the advertising desk, and anything produced through it is labelled as such.

I sent a press release and heard nothing back.

We receive far more releases than we can reply to individually. If a release contains something genuinely new that changes numbers or policy, an editor will follow up. Silence is not a judgement on your company, only on the news value of that particular announcement.

Can I reprint or translate a USA Wire article?

Short excerpts with a clear credit and a link to the original are welcome without asking. Full reproduction, translation, or commercial redistribution needs written permission from the rights desk first.

Do you offer interviews or expert comment?

Our editors occasionally speak to other outlets about our reporting. Write to the newsroom address with the outlet, the topic, and your deadline.

Not sure which desk you need?

Send it to the newsroom. If it belongs somewhere else, we will route it internally and tell you where it went.
